The 2013 ICMM Congress will be held in Portugal, from 8-15 September, 2013. The Congress location is Cascais, on the Estoril Coast, some 20 kilometres from Lisbon.

The organisers have drawn together several Portugese maritime museums for involvement in the Congress, led by the Portugese Maritime Museum (Museu de Marinha).

At the invitation of the ICMM Executive Council, Marika Hedin, Director of the Vasa Museum, Stockholm, Sweden, is heading the 2013 Congress academic programme committee.

A special website link on the ICMM homepage now takes you to a dedicated 2013 Congress website where there is up-do-date information about the Congress in Cascais; the conference programme, online registration, accommodation information and bookings, and all there is to see and do in the vicinity of the Congress venue.
